Hi,
This is yet another call for updates on Debian Installer translations.
This time for level1/sublevel3 (you already got sublevels 1 and 2 of
level 1).
Many of you seem to have trouble committing. To help debugging this
with Alioth admins, please send me the *exact* time of your commit
attempts as well as the IP address/FQDN name of the machine you're
committing from. Alternatively, you can seek for help on #alioth on
irc.debian.org and try pinging of of the Alioth admins there (see
/topic on the channel).
As very last option, please send me the file for committing.
As usual, no strict deadline, I'm just shaking the tree..:-)
Thanks in advance,
Hi,
After a bunch of reminders for lelve1/Sublevel1, here's another one
for sublevel2.
I told you that I would be nagging you guys..:-)
As explained in the mail I sent a few days ago about sublevel 1, there
is no strict deadlin nor urgency in doing such updates....but I was
thinking that it's about time to do something. Several of you folks
haven't done a single update since we released squeeze..:-)
As usual, remember that you should have commit access. Sending me
updates is nice....but you are many translators and you have no idea
about the wasted energy in explaining you how to do updates...:-)
So, before you ask: look back to mail exchanges we had in the past.
You very probably can commit to D-I SVN! If you can't, then ask...:-)
Thanks in advance,
Hi,
Debian Installer development is currently seeing a low activity. This
is perfect time for thinking about an update of translations.
Yes, we are far away from the release, I know that! But experience
shows that I never nag you enough, dear translators. I think this is
perfect time for nagging you a little bit then. So, please save me
from nagging you again in a near future for this translation and
consider updating it. For most of you, this is not that a bug work..:-)
There is no deadline set but remember that sublevel 1 completeness is
MANDATORY for your language to remain activated in D-I. I will not
de-activate incomplete languages now, but when the release becomes
closer, that could happen.
PS to old timers among you: yes, I know that some of you only send
updates when it's release time. Feel free to ignore this
message....but also feel free to use this opportunity for avoiding a
future nagging message by me..:-)
Thanks in advance,
